Typically this is done using a variety of mobile computing devices, such as laptops or PDAs. To facilitate and integrate this practice with the LiquidTrex solution, our engineers have developed the capability for importing data directly from an MS-Excel file. Travelers, record their expenses using our proprietary MS-Excel template, and then upload this file into their LiquidTrex account when they return to the office. Our server-side scripts automatically import the data into the appropriate expense report, and check for any errors. The report is then immediately ready for submission to accounting. The mobile recording capability is another user-friendly feature in the LiquidTrex system. Business travelers can now record expenses on any handheld device that supports the MS-Excel application, while ensuring integration with the corporate travel expense management system. Our field tests indicate this new module is easy to use and requires little to no training.
