LiquidHire Introduces the Media Manager Module for Enterprise Customers

June 20, 2001 - Fairfax - Virginia

LiquidApps announced the addition of a significant new module to its LiquidHire system. The new Media Manager module is designed to integrate the activities of the recruiting staff in the Human Resources department, with those of the advertising staff in the Media department. LiquidHire is an Employee Recruitment System (ERS) and functions as the electronic back office system for linking recruiters to department managers, job candidates, and media outlets. It extends the efficiencies of an online resume database, to the internal resume review and candidate selection process. Media Manager will be included in enterprise versions of the LiquidHire solution. The primary users of the media manager module will be the advertising staff. “This new module will not only slash the time lapse between job opening to media announcement, but also reduce a company’s advertising costs,” said Bala Vaidyanathan, CEO of LiquidApps. Key features of the LiquidHire Media Manager module are:

DATABASE DRIVEN MANAGEMENT OF MEDIA REQUESTS – instead of waiting for job opening media requests to arrive by corporate interdepartmental mail, the media manager module immediately displays all pending media requests. This is achieved by having a common database for all recruitment activities. The advertising staff can no see all media requests by job, by media outlet, and by requested advertisement type and frequency. This data can then be manipulated to create an appropriate insertion order.

ONLINE CREATION AND PRINTING OF INSERTION ORDERS – The media manager module enables the user to create an insertion order for a listed media outlet within the LiquidHire system. Requests are added to orders in a single click. Candidate requests for each new order are automatically displayed. This facilitates consolidation of multiple requests into one order, and hence reduces costs. Insertions orders for our media outlet partners can be electronically transmitted.

MEDIA EFFECTIVENESS REPORTS – The resume tracking capability in LiquidHire enables the media manager module to display media effectiveness reports for all utilized media. This lets the user to know which advertisements are working and which are not.
